Your 1st night out

Yesterday was your first night out with Kuhu & Vansh Bhaiya at Gangotri and you thoroughly enjoyed it. So much so that you were not interested to come home and I cried for almost half an hour for your denial  to meet me. I fought with you. You like a grown up boy listened to me and told me that you love me as well

This was my first encounter with the reality that my  baby is growing and does not need me as much I need you....

Your 1st Sports day.....

My Muchu you are in Play group now and this Friday  was your sports day.

Though this was not your first competition; you have already won 1st  position for poem recitation competition and  3rd position for "mummy ke super star" singing competition; but special for me as I am seeing you first time performing.

You had participated in clown race with other 7 contestants and has to wear sunglasses in midway and at the end of the race you had to blow the whistle lying on finish line.

Though you were fourth to finish the race but I am a proud mom coz  I could see the things which no body else noticed:

• You were last to start the race but were second to reach your first prop (sunglasses)
• You did not just hold the sunglasses on your face  ( as all the three contestant who were position holders)  but took time to wear it  nicely.
• On the finish like unlike your co participants you picked up your whistle and blew it. (even the second position holder did not blew the whistle)

I am proud to see you as a perfectionist. It is easy to let go let go few things to reach your goal but it takes time, patience and persistence to be Perfectionist

Preparing for Diwali

News of fake oil and sweets has scared me so much that I decided to wear a chef's hat this Diwali. You too are helping me in the preparation by doing the most important work of being a Taster. We made Gulabjamun and Maalpua. They were real yummy. You liked Maalpua more. Pa and Dadima was surprised to see that ma can cook so good.


Ma is also planning to make Ras malai this Diwali.

Karvachauth

On the eve of karvachauth when I came home putting henna on my hand you were quite inquisitive to see what I have put on my hand and as you touch my henna I said " no Kavya " and you started crying thinking that you have hurt my bruises.


You pa tried explaining you that it is no wound but you were not satisfied till the time you sat in my lap and checking it yourself.



And then you dadi called me on Karvachauth to tell me that you have started walking without support. Though you were walking with support for almost close to 6-7 months now but you were scared to venture out and finally you did.... my little bird could fly finally. You are too enthusiastic to use this newly acquired skills.
